From twerking to Grumpy Cat and Paula Deen to Anthony Weiner, the special shines a spotlight on everything we watched, read, discussed and shared all year long with plenty of attitude and outrageous opinion.
FINALE WATCH: The series “Nikita” (CW at 9) will wrap up with Nikita frustrated that the MDK is active, taking it upon herself to end the mission. She will make some harrowing decisions as she embarks on her road to revenge.
“Marvin Hamlisch — What He Did For Love” (WETA at 9, WMPT at 9:30) profiles the composer with help from family and friends including Barbra Streisand, Carly Simon, Steven Soderbergh, Quincy Jones, Tim Rice, Christopher Walken, Woody Allen and others who
offer insight on his talent and legacy. Among his many credits were the hit “The Way We Were” and the score to “Sophie’s Choice.”
“Golden Sisters 2013 Countdown: Best Pop Culture Moments” (OWN at 10) has Mary, Josie and Teresa back and fired up with a personal salute to pop culture with a year-in-review special of the most-talked-about stories of the year. Tom Bergeron hosts and will introduce a surprise celebrity guest.
