SERIES PREMIERE: New drama “Reign” (CW at 9) stars newcomer Adelaide Kane as Mary, Queen of Scots, back when she was a teenager. In the opener, Mary arrives in France, where she is supposed to marry the French king’s son to secure the country’s strategic alliance with Scotland. Post TV critic Hank Stuever says: “Once you get past the utter silliness of the idea, ‘Reign’ is kind of a kick.”
