SERIES PREMIERE: Special and potentially back-door pilot “Raising Fame” (TLC at 9:30) follows three mother-daughter duos who move to Los Angeles, as the moms (or, momagers) are ready to help their kids become famous. Included: 15-year-old Presley, who is going into her ninth pilot season without any luck; 18-year-old D’Lainnie, who has fallen prey to industry scams while trying to be a pop star; and 17-year-old Amber, whose mother makes it her priority to become famous.
SERIES PREMIERE: “Broadchurch” (BBC America at 10), which has already aired in the United Kingdom, is about the murder of a young boy in a small town. It is reviewed by Hank Stuever on Page C1.
