Dish of the Week: Pulpo Gallego from Barcelona Wine Bar and Restaurant

Pulpo Gallego Available at Barcelona Wine Bar and Restaurant
Some form of this Spanish classic has been on Barcelona’s tapas menu since the restaurant opened last year. The current iteration ($9.50) includes green garlic, boiled fingerling potatoes, squishy (in a good way) octopus and the ripest English peas. It’s all dusted with pimenton, a Spanish paprika.

Barcelona Wine Bar and Restaurant, 1622 14th St. NW; 202-588-5500, barcelonawinebar.com. (U Street)
