The Capital Club, the Madison, the Late Night Shots message board and the owners of Georgetown party spot Smith Point are the folks behind this annual Halloween bash, which features an open bar, DJs, a special "Red Bull Bar," two cover bands (the Winn Brothers and '80s-obsessed Judo Chop) and a DJ. Costumes are required, and the best group effort wins a $500 bar tab at Smith Point, while the best solo outfit takes a $300 tab.

Tickets are $60 until Oct. 23, $80 after that, and $100 if purchased at the Rookery on the day of the event. (There will be no sales at the door.) Advance tickets come from www.georgetownevents.com.
