Our Review

All three Dogfish Head Alehouse locations will be hosting parties to celebrate the arrival of Punkin Ale.

Falls Church: The outdoor party features live music beginning at noon, cornhole games, food and drink specials, and, from 4 to 7 p.m., face painting and other family activities. Between 7 and 9 p.m., everyone who purchases a Punkin Ale gets a free Punkin koozie.

Gaithersburg: Live music, discounted beer and cornhole will be featured in a tent set up in the Dogfish Head parking lot. Punkin Ale will be sold for $6.50 per pint from 4 p.m. on. Bands perform from 6 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. The bar will also be holding raffles to benefit the local Alzheimer's Association.

Fairfax: The Fairfax Alehouse is spreading the fun out over three days. Wednesday features free Punkin pint glasses with a purchase after 7 p.m. Thursday brings free Punkin koozies with purchase after 7 p.m. The big "Punkin Block Party" on Saturday, which runs from 11 to midnight, features live music all day, grilling in the parking lot, cornhole and, from noon to 4, games and face painting for kids.
