In this reception-style event at Blue Ridge, party-goers will get to sample a variety of Chef Barton Seaver's regional cuisine, paired with wines from Kluge Estate and beers from Hook and Ladder. Seaver and wine director Brian Cook will explain their pairings, but expect a mingling event, as opposed to a sit-down dinner.

Tickets are $50, but half of that amount is tax deductible. The event is organized by Heart's Delight: The New Vintage, a young leader's group that is raising money for the American Heart Association. According to organizers, since food, wine, beer and the space were all donated, 100-percent of the proceeds will go to the organization.
