The W's rooftop bar boasts the best views in the city, but there are plenty of other attractions on New Year's Eve. Entertainment comes from D.C. jazz fixture Marcus Johnson, DJ Oz (with a live percussionist) and DJs Jahsonic and Iwah spinning in the lounge. Artists create installations and remix videos. An open bar runs from 8 to 10, and there's the requisite champagne toast at midnight.
Those tickets cost $89 until Dec. 24 and $110 after.
A five-course dinner in the well-reviewed J&G Steakhouse and admission to the party is $150, but does not include the open bar.
The full VIP package includes dinner, the party, a room at the hotel, a bottle of champagne and other treats, and costs $599.
