Shamrocks and Shenanigans

Editorial Review

The annual Shamrocks and Shenanigans party is a lively-bordering-on-crazy party with plenty of drink specials -- starting with 17-cent Coors Light from 4 to 5 -- and games.

It's probably the least "Irish" of all Washington's St. Patrick's Day parties, though there are nods to the holiday with bagpipers, green Mardi Gras beads and a nothing-like-"Riverdance" Irish jig contest. (The person in wearing the "Most Irish Garb" also wins a prize.

Instead, the focus is really on the drink specials. Beat the clock deals include $1.17 Coors Light and $2.17 Blue Moon from 5 to 6, with prices rising $1 between 6 and 8. Jameson Irish Whiskey and Absolut Vodka drinks are $5 all night.

Tickets are $5 in advance, and prices will rise throughout the night.
