Editorial Review

The biggest and most popular destination for al fresco drinking before a Nationals home game, the Fairgrounds is a huge beer garden fashioned from an empty parking lot and recycled metal shipping containers. On game days, crowds spend hours drinking beer and frozen margaritas while hanging out at picnic tables, playing corn hole or bocce, and listening to live music.

When the Nationals are out of town, the Fairgrounds is a multipurpose event space that holds the monthly Truckaroo food truck festival, which offers up to 20 mobile dining options in one place, and major concerts, such as the Trillectro festival.
