The Idle Americans, "an excellent local group" - The Wash. Post and "Baltimore's rollicking" - The Washingtonian, featuring Matt Kelley, Zach Sweeney, Steve "Wolf" Crescenze and Scott Rabino, host the popular open blues jam every Sunday, 7-11 pm. Host band opens & plays for 45 min., so get there early for a seat. Great way to hear local blues talent on a Sunday evening. The Idle Americans also play on a Wed. night, every other month, and on a Friday or Saturday night about every other month. Also, on the 2nd Sunday of the month, there's an acoustic jam, 4-7 pm, sponsored by the DC Blues Society and the Archie Edwards Foundation. www.dcblues.org www.TheIdleAmericans.com www.bangkokblues.com
