Part of a New York-based chain of "saloon"-styled bars with plenty of flatscreen TVs and loud rock music.

Great place to catch the Nittany Lions!
I don't venture to Bethesda often, but when I do I def head straight to BlackFinn. It is by far the busiest bar in Bethesda, great drinks and great service! I hear they are also opening one in DC, can't wait!
I go here often, and find that when I'm here, I often run into friends. The food is decent, it's pub food - what do you expect? The drinks are good, and I don't seem to have the same problem other reviewers are complaining about. I get service quick enough, and NEVER have once thought that they were overstaffed. It can get busy there at night, so if I have to wait five minutes - I understand. Minuses? Not much other than that is often THE place to be any night of the week, and therefore can be pretty crowded.
I liked this place. It had a friendly atmosphere and good food. I would definitely go back again for dinner. The lunch menu looked good as well!
