Located across from Union Station in the historic Post Office Building, this branch of Cap City has a gorgeous interior and tasty beer.

If you are a beer drinker and can make it to their happy hour, this is the place. Service is great, Beer is mighty tasty and the food is pretty good too. My folks and I go there every monday and love the environment (Except when its too crowded). Happy hour is from 4-7 with $3.50 brews and $5.00 Apps.
Folks, I am a regular visitor to Capitol brewery when I lived in the neighborhood. Great selection of micro brews with decently priced appetizers. However, the place has gone to dumps in the last year. Service is impersonal, food is mediocre, dirty restaurant and rest rooms are worse than Union station rest rooms; an absolute assault on your senses. Go to Irish Time just round the corner for a decent beer and amicable environment. Capitol Brewery is an absolute disgrace to a DC establishment courted by non DC residents.
