With a name like Club Elite, you'd expect burly doormen, a strict dress code and high cover charges, but you'd be wrong. Club Elite does have a dress code (no athletic wear), but, for the most part, it's a relaxed club with a loyal crowd that comes out for the free buffet (from 6 to 8) followed by dancing five nights a week. It has its own hand dance team, Dance Elite, and offers hand dance lessons on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays. On Wednesdays, the dancers show their skills to a live R&B-oldies band. There are two floors -- usually oldies upstairs and more current hip-hop on the smaller dance floor below. DJs spin records on both floors on Fridays and Saturdays.
