It's the beer that is the star at DuClaw. I applaud the effort to vary the selection with seasonals. Not always winners but it's the thought that count Major points for bringing back Venom! Service is good. Atmosphere is great. Big open restaurant and bar. Bartenders are no nonsense and some may say lack personality but they are quick with a beer and are attentive. Food is weak and lacks the imagination of the brew master. How bout adding a char grilled burger? What goes better with beer than Pizza? How bout a pizza oven? How bout some fresh seafood? Same old salads, and appetizers don't cut it. Go for the beer and bar atmosphere and hope the menu gets a makeover.
