This ultra-hip club has no sign and a strict door policy. If you get in to ESL, you'll find beautiful people, couches and some of the city's best DJs.

i have never had such awful and rude service! The DJ was terrible, the Bouncer was rude and ignorant and the waitress was barely checking on our table we reserved! I DO NOT suggest this place to anyone, unless you like the bouncer cursing at you or the bathrooms to not have toilet paper all night or for the waitress to not serve you for 15 min or more! Believe the reviews on the horrible rudeness of the employees from the YELP, TWITTER and reviews in general....they are all true!
When I went with a group of 3, there was no wait, but the cover was $10 each. It is a nice place with couches and lounging areas. On the third floor, there is a jazz band that plays on the weekends. This felt like the young professional crowd anywhere from late 20's to late 30's. There were not a lot of people in there who looked like they may be using fake ID's...it's not that kind of place. It was nice, but there is not a lot of room to dance, even though the second floor has DJs who play some pretty good dance music. People seem to mingle comfortably here in a more upscale environment than typical DC "clubs".
