A true corner bar, the cast of characters at Larry's reflects the neighborhood: gay and straight, young and old, dressed up or in flip-flops and shorts. The small patio is a great hang in warm weather, but sitting at the small counter and talking to the bartenders is always rewarding.

Larry's surely has declined over the past year. Fifteen bucks for a Grey Goose martini is nuts for a bar. The same drink in $14.50 at the Mayflower Hotel. The restrooms need overhauled as well as whatever sink backs up behind the bar creating a stench. Plus I tried to sit outside in the Autumn and the mosquitos were out of control. Come on - get a grip!
