I have been boycotting this bar since shortly after it opened. The staff are rude and unreasonable. My friend and I were let into the bar, while our other 2 friends were not allowed in for absolutely no reason. When I stepped back outside to see why my 2 friends didn't come in behind me, the bouncer refused to let me back in the bar. He was very rude for no reason. The bouncer refused to let me go back in to get our other friend so we could leave to go somewhere else. I couldn't reach my friend on his phone, because cell phone signals don't really work well in the basement of the bar. It was totally ridiculous and there was no reason for the bouncer to treat us that way. My friends and I will never go there again.
Full of douchy college kids, rude, obnoxious people. Wait and bar staff is awesome, specials are great, food is beyond horrible. The only safe thing is a burger.
there are always specials and some kind of party going on at this bar, good variety of ages/types of people
This is my favorite place to go with group of friends- cheap beer specials and they give away tons of free shots. The bartenders and staff get pretty rowdy, and the music is great for dancing on the bar (which is highly encouraged, of course).
Despite the good reviews I read, McFadden's was such a disappointment. The entire bar floor was littered with wet napkins that had to be scraped off your shoes. But worse, the crowd was obnoxious and sloppy-looking. Weekends are definitely not for the young professional.
McFadden's might be the closest thing to coyote ugly you can get. Awesome drinks, fun atmosphere, and only a $5 cover that you generally forget you paid by the end of the night anyway.
