DC needs more places like this
Really delicious cocktails, seated only space so people aren't breathing down your neck, creative bartenders. This place is one of the best bars in the city. Great place to go for a special occasion or a romantic date. Get there early and put your name on the list and don't dress like a slob! To the person above - one star? really?! You obviously have never been inside Gibson by your review.
Please don't bother
I made a reservation in advance, but that is not good enough anymore. They now will allow people to contractually rent out their bar space and if they pick up a contract before you get there, you are out of luck. This bar is really pretentious and there are a lot of other great places on U street to try before dealing with the hassle of this one.
