A co-worker invited me to the Park to see Idris Elba. We arrived at 7pm and were given a pager for a table. 3 hours later we never got a table. The bouncers are THE WORST EVER. Arrogant, shallow jerks who think they run the show. Note to Marc and the other co-owners, if they dont step their staff game up and cater to customers Business 101 Park will not succeed.
We have a good time last Saturday, the food was good and all the staff was very nice and the have some pretty hot Bartenders... Bella2
The Park fails at creating a chic atmosphere. Don't waste your time at this place.
I went for a charity Happy Hour and was told I was dressed to casual to enter, in my slacks dress shoes and collar shirt whcih I wore to my job. I then asked the door man about the white guys sitting there in shorts collar shirts and flip flops and was told I don't amke the rules and was refused entry for Happy Hour. This is not how you treat paying customers!
I attended Park last Thrusday for Pandora, and I wouldn't reccomend it to anyone. Every week I recieve emails from the event, so I finally decided to check it out. I waited 3 hours for just to be seated for dinner. The menu had no variety, and the food was fair. The managers I spoke with were poorly trained. After waiting 2 hours I asked to speak to a manager, and the only explaination I recieve was "Well there are people who have been waiting for 4 hours, so I'm in good shape" (i feel for the poorly educated) The place was too small for the large haughty crowd that was there. The whole "Be There Be Beautiful" theme is null and void for this establishment. If you are into low-class, tasteless venue's park is right up your alley.
I wanna start with saying The Park knows how to throw a party! My friends and I were this Wednesday for a party hosted by LeBron James and it was awesome! No trouble at the door, greeted by a nice host and we had the the best time! I hope they keep doing what they are doing because it is bringing people back!
It's laughable how pretentious this place is. Last Saturday we were out taking some out-of-town (country in fact) friends, and although we were on "the list" we kept being passed over by the d-bags working the door. Mind you, this was not the regular "call us" list, it was the personal list for one of the managers. Nothing, even after telling over-gelled d-bag this, they wouldn't listen. Same thing happened 3 months ago, even being on the owner's list. Which begs the question, does Marc Barnes know about the d-baggery going on at the front or does he: 1) choose to ignore it or 2) someone is shielding the d-baggery going on? We ended up at Darlington House and had a much better time than Park would've provided.
Friday night was my first time to The Park and it was a time to remember! A few friends and I went for dinner and stayed for the nightlife. Dinner was outstanding with perfect service. The food was coursed properly, delicious, and the server was attentive to everything we needed. Once we finished dinner, we went up to the 3rd floor and enjoyed great music and great looking people. We decided to get a bottle service table and again, the service was on point. It is noticeable that the people who work there enjoy their jobs and take care of the venue. It looks amazing! We will be back soon!
Saturday was such a treat! The night was a total success! Finally a crowd of beautiful adults, having a great time drama free. Music 4 stars People 4 stars Staff 4 stars and Food WOW!!! 4 more stars
I have been to the park for lounge /bottle service and we had a great time, however what is more surprising is the food. We never thoght to go to the park for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised and had a great experience. The tuna sashimi was outstanding. The Sea bass was perfection. Oh yes, the cilantro shrimp.....I could go on! If you havent tried it , you must you must!
The atmosphere was wonderful, Growm and sexy. Great food and music w can all dance too, and the staff is wonderful and always making your visit the best expirience.
Friends & I went to celebrate my retirement.Things started good. After we paid our nearly $400.00 bill, 2 of the men left & the other went to move his car, we ordered another round & started a new tab.A Mgt staffer came to us (4 females)& asked if we would move to the bar, since we had been there for 2 1/2 hours. They wanted to give our table to customers with dinner reservation. He wanted us to stand at a crowded small bar.I said no & that I was offended by his rude & disrespectful request. After "discission", he offered us a smaller table & to buy our next round. We moved. No one took our old table.20 minutes & 2 more Mgrs later we were told we could go back to the table-realizing their mistake, our deep pockets & our Attorney. We declined
...Can't think of anything to whine about other than more staff behind the bars. I had read all the discrimination comments before going and was a little worried. We had a few black women in our group and I am a curvy girl. I have to say, we had a great time and no issues with anyone. Everyone was polite...the crowd was plenty diverse including african american men and women. I think Park is making a conscious effort to keep away from any one particular stereo type. They don't want to be the hip hop club or the euro trash club or the international spot. Very smart...it's hard to break out of a mold once you've been labeled. I think Park is great...obviously you can't make everyone happy.
I visited Park Friday night with a few of my girlfriends. I had heard that Park has turned into a "list" lounge so my friend made a call to get us on the guest list. We showed up at Park around 11pm. We ended up not being on the list but the doorman let us in anyway. Once inside the atmosphere was pleasant. We stayed at the first floor bar for a little while (which could have used an extra bartender). The one that was working was nice but it took a long time to get a drink. The music was good and the crowd was diverse. Other staff of Park were very pleasant and accommodating. We eventually ventured to the 3rd floor to dance. Once again, the music was great. Overall, we had a great experience. Can't think of anything to whine about...
I choose THE PARK as an acceptable venue for my Stylist's Birthday party. It was suppose to be "nice, trendy, prefessional" etc and I was excited to do something along those lines at this point in my life. I was in this establishment for maybe an hour when a woman that was in a supervisior role was TOTALLY RUDE TO ME!!!! I had never felt so disrespected by another adult in what seemed to be a "Hip" "Upscale" establishment. I am and was DISGUSTED.My sorority is having an annual happy hour there and I am considering not going and letting them know how I was treated so that we can take our business elsewhere
I have so many negative things to say about this "celebrity club" wanna be. It is sickening how rude the bouncers at the door are. For a business that strives on customers coming to spend their money, they need to watch out how they treat their bread and butter! There is no method to their madness when it comes to having a line. It is more like a blob of mess and no order. I got let in after I decided I was sick and tired of waiting and listening to the brainless bouncers mouths. Then the worst thing happened, one of the cleaning staff members spilled a drink all over me and my dress that i just got the day before! All he could say was "sorry" I HAD to tell him to get me napkins! I would not reommend this awful so called club! Just pain RUDE
Haters wanna hate. Lovers wanna love. The Park is glamorous in every way possible. The midnight madness party last Friday was fabulous. My friends and I couldn't stop dancing to the best house music we'd heard in years. And finally, a metro-accessible party that goes till 4 am for once!
I've been to The Park many times and had a great experience each time. Customer service is great at the club - the staff is attentive of your needs and the decor is beautiful. Overall I give this place a two thumbs up!
I just planned a party and The Park and they did a marvelous job. As a local planner I find this venue one of the best to work with. The Chef and her team are amazing, as they created dishes beyond my expectations. The management and event staff at The Park are extremely experienced, pleasant and very accommodating. They paid close attention to details and made sure that me and my client where completely satisfied. I highly recommend The Park as a venue for parties or just hanging out.
The Park is AMAZING !! The space is beautiful and the food is to die for. A definite must for after work happy hour or late night cocktails.
I had a great time dining at the Park this past weekend with 2 of my friends. The door staff, wait staff and security were well-dressed. The seared ahi tuna was out of this world, and my friend said the crabcakes were to die for. The bar options were endless and the dj kept me dancing all night. I recommend everyone visit the Park for a deliciously good time!
as someone who has bemoaned to excess the loss of Republic ardens and sophisticated fun with adults, I was pleasantly surprised by the decor, the maturity of both the staff, and the clientele. Class act for after work cocktail and rendezvous.
Although known for their hot nightlife, my friends and I came in for dinner and the food was remarkably impressive! The service was great! Starting with the greeters at the door who were friendly and courteous, the hostess who were helpful, to our beautiful server who took excellent care of my friends and I. They gave us suggestions, and I must say that the seafood pasta that was recommended was delicious. I will return to The Park ,not only to party but also for dinner, and I recommend that if you haven't tried their food, DO SO!
I went to the Bond Soiree a couple of weeks ago and had an amazing time. They had actual characters from Bond movies walking around, they had casino tables set up for which I'm told all the proceeds went towards the charity Fashion Fights Poverty. And last but not least, the food was to die for. I'm definitely going back!
HELLOOO. All yall pullin race cards...the owner is BLACK!!! Lets just state the facts ok...The Park is beautiful...the staff is polite and helpful. The food is the best I've tasted at any bar/resterant and its NOT that hard to get it if your style is classy and fly!!! People stop hating!!!
