Unpretentious, uncomplicated, cash-only. Most of the clientele, locals, yuppies, local yuppies, is friendly and welcoming, more often than not willing to share one of the prized booths and make new friends -- but beware of Friday and Saturday nights, when large numbers and a sense of entitlement can overwhelm.
