Editorial Review

Formerly known as Winston's, a notorious staging area for one-night stands and drunken fisticuffs, Rhino Bar and Pumphouse now has a different image. It changed the music format from the usual Top-40 hits to the slightly retro sounds of the '70s and '80s; added some microbrews on tap; and put a huge wooden carving of a rhino above the bar.

TThere's never a cover, at least not yet, and a DJ spins the hits on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.

Great Place to catch the Nittany Lions any Saturday.

Review makes it seem like its different from any other sports bar, but it's not. The music selection is entertaining but there IS a $5 cover and drafts were $4.50, domestic bottles a dollar less. I don't know by what standard that's cheap beer. Maybe for Georgetown. A fun place to meet with friends, but plenty of others like it, most likely cheaper.
