i was there this past thursday and i couldnt belive how many good looking girls were in that club, def more girls than guys and thats my type of venue! i loved and def coming back this week ;)

What happened to the open bar

I've been to Friday night's open bar (from 9-10) before and enjoyed myself. This past Friday there was no open bar, as promised, because we were made to stand in line until 10. We arrived at 8:45 and had about 20 people in our entourage. We wrongly assumed that the open bar would be pushed back an hour. Having everyone wait in line an hour and then reneging on the promise of free drinks was clearly just a money-making scheme. I was astounded by their lack of professionalism and won't be returning any time soon.

the staff and bouncers were very nice & the DJ great but the guests itself was a mix bag of everthting and the guys were not that great looking or even tried to dress up to impress, while us girls were. not worth the admin fee but if you can get in for free sure give it a try.

Pretty good - lots of dance space

(-) Cons: fake line - we waited in the rain for 20 minutes while they let two people in at a time. When we got inside, there was hardly anyone in there, which made me a bit upset. (+) Pros: free with pre-printed passes. Lots of dance space on the main floor and downstairs. Pretty good music and a good amount of people ended up showing up later in the night.

...I recognize their names. one even has "promo" in it. this place has the most bizarre staff that is obsessed in a psycho way about not letting you set your coat down. even if you're dancing in front of it. they force you to buy bottled water if you ask. even K street lounge will give you a glass of water and they're world's more upscale. pretty lame.

Love it!

I love coming to Ultrabar! No other club in DC has such a mix of crowd and music! Staff is great and always helpful and never Rude!!!
