Went to this restaurant for dinner on a Sat night. It was pretty loud in there so they sat us outside (i.e., in the mall). The service was very good but the food was mediocre, which was a shame because all the entrees sounded really good. Also, the speaker for the TV in our area was malfunctioning, so the sound was mostly off but would occasionally start working which was annoying. Had to ask several times to get that shut off...not sure why it was so hard to turn off. I would not recommend this place if you actually want to hear what your dinner mates are saying if you sit inside.
Ribs are okay, Happy hour deals are great. Don't order the chicken sticks. Nachos are great too. Wait staff is pretty darn good, as are the bouncers. That said the exception is as follows. Bartenders are the exception as is management. Liam apparently can't deal with customers getting along and flirting at the front bar and gets competition (aka male customers) thrown out Haven't experienced being thrown out myself as I always had a great experience there, but did see someone get thrown out because of him. Ask me for details. Because of this I won't be returning, as service and bartending skill are everything coming from the midwest.
I can't tell if this place wants to be a pub, sports bar, or night club. In general, the staff isn't too friendly. I've seen patrons be asked to leave for having a baseball cap on, and thought I can't verify it, I've heard that if you wear a sports jersey, that teams needs to be playing on TV at the time in order for it to be allowed...
Good looking place, poor food quality, plenty of flat screen tv's and a good selection of british beers. Not the most outgoing or friendly employees.
NEVER AGAIN!!! Arrogant hostess, that wanted to know "Is it 6 or 8" for numbers coming, after being told 6 or 8. Then wanted to know if meals would be ordered. Place was empty at time this occurred. Really P*ssed me off to put it mildly. I was going to drop a couple hundred in this place and instead I get 20 f*cking questions after sitting down and being told to see the hostess!!!! Unforgiveable.
I met some friends there a couple of weeks ago and I liked the atmosphere and crowd. It was a good mix. Beer selection is decent, food was decent bar food, and we had great service. parking is convienent since it is attached to the mall. What I liked most was the fact that it was non-smoking and that is one of the primary reasons I will return.
