Superstar chef Eric Ripert oversees this bistro with flavors of the Chesapeake, Provence and the French Riviera.
Big Picture: Westend Bistro for me fell into the middle of the spectrum of I've had better meals, I've had worse meals. In the end the food was forgettable which at this price point ($250 for three), should be considered unacceptable. Small picture: The shrimp and grits would have been a success if the grits had been served naked. They were rich and creamy almost like a corn pudding. The shrimp/sausage sauce was bland and the shrimp were plentiful but ironically small rendering them rubbery in texture. My dining companions meals (Fried Chicken and Trout) each suffered in a similar same way. Large portions, limited flavor. If you are a desert lover, you will be underwhelmed with the choices. Overall: Not likely to return.
