Best Brunch Special

The Washington Post Staff  |  Updated 07/26/2009

For some, weekend mornings go down a lot easier with a drink or three. Here our favorite spots for a late-morning meal.

Creme Cafe

Washington, DC

On Saturdays and Sundays, the U Street favorite serves chicken and waffles, crabcakes and a wide variety of poached eggs. Bottomless mimosas or bloody marys are available for $16.

The Front Page

Washington, DC

The Sunday brunch buffet is $20.95 per person. Unlimited champagne is an additional $3; unlimited mimosas are $4.50.

Tony and Joe's Seafood Place

Washington, DC

Unlimited champagne and mimosas are included in Tony and Joe's $45 Sunday brunch. Too bad brunchers can't sit on the restaurant's waterfront patio.

Whitlow's on Wilson

Arlington, VA

The Arlington hangout is jumping on the weekends. DIYers, try the make-your-own-bloody-mary bar.
