Show Boat

Signature Theatre tries to breathe new life into the 1927 classic of musical theater, going so far as to restore the song "Mis'ry's Comin' Round," which was cut after the first performance. But the changes don't stop there. There's also no boat in director Eric Shaeffer's stripped-down version.
