The 11th annual Bethesda Literary Festival takes place April 16-18 at several venues in downtown Bethesda, Md. There will be a wide array of author readings, workshops and children's events, one of the largest of which will be an Authors' Reception hosted by Barnes & Noble Booksellers (4801 Bethesda Ave.) on Sunday, April 18, at 1 p.m. featuring, among others Sandy Abrams, author of "Your Idea, Inc.: 12 Steps to Building a Million Dollar Business - Starting Today!"; John Fenzel, author of the thriller "The Lazarus Covenant"; Richard Latoff, author of "Washington By Storm A Photographer's Album"; Ellen Weber Libby, author of "The Favorite Child: How a Favorite Impacts Every Family Member for Life"; Denis Lipman, author of "A Yank Back to England: The Prodigal Tourist Returns"; Washington Post writer Kathy Orton, author of "Outside the Limelight: Basketball in the Ivy League"; and Stuart E. Weisberg, author of "Barney Frank: The Story of America's Only Left-Handed, Gay, Jewish Congressman."
