Downtown Bethesda hosts its 13th annual festival with novelists, poets, journalists and children's authors. Scheduled to appear at the Doubletree Hotel: Walter Isaacson ("Steve Jobs") Saturday at 12:30 p.m., Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman ("That Used to be Us") Sunday at 11 a.m., and public radio legend Bob Edwards ("A Voice in the Box: My Life in Radio") Sunday at 12:30 p.m. Other author events take place at various locations throughout Bethesda.
