Editorial Review

Founded in 1958, and located in downtown historic Easton, the Academy Art Museum presents exhibitions, concerts, performances and lectures. With its five studios and a darkroom, the museum offers painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking and dance classes to adults and children living in the Eastern Shore region. Past exhibitions have included original works by Ansel Adams, Roy Lichtenstein, Robert Rauschenberg, Howard Pyle and N.C. Wyeth. The academy is a private not-for-profit institution. Special docent tours are available on request.
