Civil War Songs & Letters

The band Dead Men's Hollow will play songs of the Civil War and actors from Guillotine Theatre will read letters and diary entries from soldier and civilians affected by the Civil War.

The Athenaeum's cool, contemplative gallery space is a welcome oasis on a busy day of shopping or sightseeing in Alexandria. The medium-size space shows a variety of art: regional artists or touring international exhibits, antique rugs or juried shows.
