On Friday evening, seven art galleries from Georgetown’s tony Book Hill neighborhood will, for the first time, host a group gallery crawl.

Each of the art spaces, which are clustered around the intersection of Wisconsin Avenue and Reservoir Road NW, will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. for an evening of culture and liquid refreshment (not necessarily in that order).

The participating galleries -- whose September lineups showcase prints, photographs, paintings and glass -- include Heiner Contemporary, Addison/Ripley Fine Art, Galerie Blue Square, Neptune Fine Art, Robert Brown Gallery, Maurine Littleton Gallery and Susan Calloway Fine Arts.
