On Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m., Project 4 will host an opening reception for the first in a series of exhibitions in which creative professionals from non-visual-art fields (e.g., dance, theater and the culinary arts) will select the artists. Called “Exchange,” the series begins with Sheldon Scott, a storyteller, actor and writer.
For the inaugural showcase, Scott has chosen the work of photographers Josh Cogan, Bill Crandall, Jati Lindsay, Caitlin Teal Price, Messay Shoakena and Sam Vasfi.
Each photograph on view will be accompanied by a narrative written by the curator, who will also present a performance on opening night at 8:30.
