Gallery Opening of the Week
By Michael O'Sullivan
Friday, Nov 18, 2011
Since opening Heiner Contemporary this summer, gallery owner Margaret Heiner has made a point of introducing the Washington art scene to new talent. Her latest show, which opens Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. with a free reception, is no exception. Painters Chip Allen, Katherine Sable and Camilo Sanin will exhibit a selection of colorful abstract works. None of them is a household name in this town - at least not yet.
"In Line/Out of Line" runs through Jan. 14 at 1675 Wisconsin Ave. NW. www.heiner
