Gallerist Jayme McLellan is also an artist, but she’s always used her Civilian Art Projects to showcase the work of others. Now, her own art will get a chance to shine, when Heiner Contemporary opens “Jealousy of Clouds,” an exhibition featuring McLellan’s photography, video and installation, on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.

McLellan is a talented photographer, but less known for her art than for her art advocacy. Her work in “Jealousy,” which was inspired by the Buddhist monk and author Thich Nhat Hanh’s story about a stream that envies the clouds, centers on images of the sky.
