With such exhibits as J. Edgar Hoover’s revolver and Pancho Villa’s death mask, dare we say that missing this spot would be a real, uh, crime?
This is probably the worst museum in DC, which is unfortunate, because given the wonderful material they have to work with, it could be one of the best. Basically, the majority of the museum is made up of extremely wordy signs that don't convey a lot of information. But the worst part is that whoever put this museum together has not made even the most basic efforts to adhere to the rules of spelling and grammar. Many of the signs don't make sense, common English words are misspelled, and many sentences that aren't sentences. There are also significant errors of fact, including misstatements about historical figures and misspellings of names. All in all, it's a waste of your money if you were hoping to learn anything or be entertained.
