Rina Banerjee is on deck as the next artist to be featured in the Arthur M. Sackler Gallery’s “Perspectives” series devoted to contemporary art. The Indian artist’s site--specific installation, “A World Lost,” will go on view July 13 in the museum’s entrance pavilion.

Beginning Tuesday, however, you can watch the artist build her sculpture of found objects over four days. Made from glass, plastic and other unorthodox materials, the work’s riverlike form is meant to evoke the migration of people, the flow of culture and the inevitable degradation of the environment.
