Editorial Review

Chorizo cooked in wine, shrimp sauteed with garlic, and grilled pork with onions and peppers are among the small plates ($3.95-$6.95) dished up at La Tasca ("the tavern"), which opened in November 2003 with all-Spanish music and all-Spanish wine list, sherries and brandies. It's No. 36 in a line of same-named dining rooms from a restaurant company based in Spain and Great Britain, with 250 seats spread across two floors. -- Tom Sietsema
