Cafe Citron is loud, but always fun, albeit super crowded on the weekends. That said, they have live music every night of the week (I'm a big fan of the flamenco, on Mondays, and the samba on Wednesdays is...typical carnaval stereotype but the dancer is talented, and gives lessons after the show). The food is good too - try the Bolivian potato cake.
Best Places for Emily Sightings...
I love these. Others seem to as well. Try them out (but don't bring miserable people with you).

"Favorite place for a first date would be Cafe Citron in Washington, D.C. The food is great and later on in the night there is salsa, reggaeton and hip-hop dancing. It is pretty festive and they make the best mojitos. It's not too formal and it's a whole lotta fun."
Melissa's Spots
My flavor: Latin, Reggae, Hip Hop. I like to move and I love live music.

I mean...it's Citron. Nothin but love and the best back-up on a lame night. It always delivers.
