"My favorite recommendation for a first date is Ray's Hell-Burger. No matter what time of day you go, it's always busy, which makes for a generally communal, festive atmosphere. It's relatively inexpensive (even for the foie gras burger), mind-blowingly delicious, and casual enough to squelch anticipation anxiety."
