Melissa's Spots

My flavor: Latin, Reggae, Hip Hop. I like to move and I love live music.

Go on Tuesday.

Go here if you wanna look good, look at other people who look good, see a famous person, or network. Don't go if you're looking for affordable drinks and aint here.

Interestingly enough, never eaten here. But fun Ethiopian parties for sure.

It's a hit or miss for me...a little too white and hipster, but a fun back-up if you really need something to do.

It's Fur. It's got a lil' bit of everything. You plan to go here, you usually don't just show up for the hell of it. Tight electronic DJ's..biggest names in the world, in fact.

Best Mexican spot in DC I have found thus far. La panaderia esta tremenda, y la comida, ni hablar.

Like all Mexican food in DC (except for the outdoor vendors in Adams Morgan) it's underwhelming and overpriced..but, given the context, I price its existence like nothing else. Just give me smaller tacos for cheaper please! The al pastor's pretty good too.

Live bands sometimes on weekends. I've seen salsa and rock en espaƱol here.

Good networking spot. Fun intern events in the summer.
