My favorite pho spot, which does great non-pho food and also good Thai tea with bubble and jelly! I love the Eden Center. Where else can you get pho, sandwiches, bubble tea and a three-carat diamond?

It's dressy, traditional, expensive, small and by reservation only, but worth every inconvenience. I live for good omakase.

I love hitting the monuments at night, this one in particular. It's dramatically lit and usually vacant, with calm, peaceful fountains.

Dim sum served (on carts) seven days a week. They do chicken feet really well here, although I'm not crazy about their tripe.

An oldie but a goodie... sweet tea, beef ribs, mac-n-cheese and collard greens till 4 a.m. The O.G. Marvin.

My friend's first time he wiped his hands with the injera bread -- he thought it was a hand towel. Even as a rookie, though, it's hard to go wrong here. I ask for extra mitmita.

Authentic and delicious home-cooked Korean food at almost any hour. The only time I saw it shut down was when a bar brawl next door got out of hand.
