With Nation closed, the Buzzlife/Cubik crew has been holding parties at a variety of venues. For a pair of Halloween weekend events, the setting is the Woolly Mammoth Theatre. On Saturday, Buzz founder Scott Henry, longtime Buzz DJ John Tab and risk-taking drum n' bass DJ DB are taking over the decks for old-school sets, which sounds like a brilliant night of music.

Beyond the music, Buzzlife is also sponsoring a costume contest with $1,000 in cash prizes. Capacity is limited to 400, and tickets start at $15 -- the price will increase closer to the event.
