After last Saturday's wildly popular Burst party, Rosslyn's new Artisphere welcomes D.C.'s favorite experimental/art-music DJs Bluebrain, who can seriously keep a dance floor moving when they're not coming up with unusual ideas like a boombox parade on the Mall or creating programs that make ambient soundscapes with iTunes tracks. There are "some surprises in store," although some cats are already out of the bag. The biggest is a DJ set by Animal Collective's Geologist, who's known for his raw and sometimes weird sonic collages. At the other end of the spectrum, Batala, the all-woman Brazilian percussion band, is also performing. Tickets are $15, and the event is open to all ages. (If you're over 21, there will be drink specials.)
