NOTE: All of the demonstrations take place in or around the elephant house.
Zookeepers and vets demonstrate how the elephants are trained to not move during their physical exams, weigh-ins and x-rays. The demonstrations include the animals being fed, bathed and weighed. Check out folk crafts sample Ceylon tea and watch Sri Lankan dancers, who will perform traditional dances intermittently throughout the afternoon.
