Buzzlife Promotions is obviously hoping that the third time is the charm at Nation. Twice before, its rave-style party has been canceled at Nation (due to ecstacy-related arrests outside the club and sensationalistic reports of drug use inside the venue) and spent a year in exile at Baltimore's Trust Nightclub.

Despite its problems, Buzz -- sorry, make that Cubik -- has deservedly developed an international reputation as a place to see the best DJs in the business, from Paul Oakenfold to Fatboy Slim, Tiesto to Goldie, Deep Dish to the Crystal Method.

The new event is still 18-and-over, but features an open bar from 9 to 10, and goes until the wee hours of the morning. Admission is $12 before midnight and $15 thereafter, although discounts are available for active members of the Buzzlife message board (see www.buzzlife.com for more information).
