Sunday marks the beginning of Meat Week 2014, which usually falls just before Ask Your Doctor About Lipitor Week. Area barbecue restaurants will be offering seven days of specials on ribs, pulled pork, brisket and anything else one might put in a smoker for eight to 16 hours. Hosts include Rockville's Urban Bar-B-Que Company (Jan. 26), Penn Quarter's Hill Country Barbecue Market (Jan. 27), Del Ray's Pork Barrel BBQ (Jan. 29) and Bethesda's Smoke BBQ (Jan. 30).
