The Grand Tasting presents more than 1,100 wines from leading national and international vineyards. Guided tastings, seminars, and cooking demonstrations enhance the experience for oenophiles of all levels of experience.

On Friday, don't miss the Grand Cru Wine Lounge Opening Night Party. Pairing rare vintages with delicious foods, this event kicks off the weekend with the opportunity to mingle with winemakers, chefs and experts.

Speakers at the Wine and Food Festival include Doug Frost, one of three people in the world to have achieved the titles of Master Sommelier and Master of Wine, and Gloria Maroti Frazee, Director of Education for the "Wine Spectator" School. The festival will also feature celebrity chefs from leading Washington restaurants such as 1789, Cafe Rustico, and Equinox.

On Sunday, Frazee will lead a seminar on "How to Pair Wine and Food." Grand Tasting tickets also include an opportunity to meet and chat with winemakers, complimentary food samples, and cooking demonstrations.

During the festival, a series of seminars will be available. Topics include sustainable and earth-friendly wines, a mixology seminar, an examination of South African vineyards, and specified discussions on white wine, pinot noir, champagne, and classic grape varieties from various regions. Ticket prices for seminars vary.
