Films from China, India, Japan, Korea, France, Spain, Italy, Germany, and the United States highlight themes of Generations/Getting Older,Cities/Urban Environment, Humor, Fears and Phobias and Beauty.
The screenings will take place in embassies and cultural centers around Washington, including the Goethe-Institut, the Embassy of India, the Alliance Franaise, the Embassy of Korea's KORUS House, the Japan Information and Culture Center, and the Istituto Italiano di Cultura.
Each screening will be followed by discussion of the films and the topics. The final night will showcase the audience favorites, and will be followed by a reception.
