The Victorian Lyric Opera Company performs Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Pirates of Penzance" directed by Felicity Ann Brown with music direction by Joseph Sorge. At the F. Scott Fitzgerald Theatre.
The theater, home to the Rockville Little Theatre company as well as a variety of other concerts and performances, is a modern facility with seating for 500 people. It is set in a Rockville park with ample parking around the building and a recently expanded and renovated lobby. The theater was named for "The Great Gatsby" author, whose original grave was in a nearby churchyard cemetery; it has since been relocated to the cemetery of St. Mary's Catholic Church on Veirs Mill Road.
